Yahoo! BrowserPlus
Back in April, we’ve reported about the upcoming Yahoo! project – BrowserPlus. While it’s still in Beta, Yahoo finally decided to release it for a public use (sneak peek). BrowserPlus is a technology for web browsers that allows developers to create rich web applications with desktop capabilities. The 100 Best Products of 2008
Few days ago PC World revealed its “The 100 Best Products of 2008” list. The social web browser Flock was voted in the highest position among any other web browsers. It took a solid 6th place. Mozilla Firefox 3 was in the 21st place followed by Apple Safari which was in the 22nd. Hulu (online video service) was voted as #1.
Google Custom Search – Opera Issues?
According to Tamar Weinberg from Search Engine Roundtable:
“After much frustration with Google’s Custom Search Engine, it seems that Google’s CSE doesn’t actually support the Opera web browser. Apparently, when Opera users try to set up the Google custom search engine, they fill in all forms, hit save, but nothing happens.” Continue Reading

Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) Beta 2
It looks like Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) Beta 2 will be released within a couple of months, in the third quarter to be exact. As for now, Microsoft asks web site owners to make sure that their pages will be displayed correctly on IE 8. Opera Mini 4.1 Update Released (4.1.11355)
Opera Mini team just released a minor update for Opera Mini 4.1. They’ve reported that this release fixes BlackBerry and Palm related mobile phones issues. As for everyone else, you don’t have to update it, unless you want to.
