Mozilla Bows To The Pressure, Firefox To Come With The DRM
Well, that didn’t take long.
It appears that Mozilla has finally cracked down from all the content industry pressure and is no longer against implementing DRM into its web browser, at least not against in a way that they refuse to do it. Everything else is pretty much just a PR talk.
According to the latest report, Firefox will include a code that installs Adobe’s DRM when presented with a media that requests such rights management.

Learning English Is Now Super Fun
Thanks to Google.
If you ever wanted to improve English skills, now is your chance to shine. Thanks to the latest Google Chrome experiment called Spell Up, learning English is now more fun than it has ever been.
Basically, you talk into a microphone and spell / guess / pronounce various English words that are stacked on top of each another, building a tower that can collapse after you made a mistake. Microsoft Releases Bing App For Firefox OS
Just a quickie.
Now here’s a shocker: despite the fact that Firefox OS does not have any market share, the software giant has decided to allocate some of its resources and create a Bing app for Mozilla’s very own mobile platform. Check it out here.
Now if only Google would do the same and release some of their apps for platforms with at least some of the market share, aka Windows Phone.

April, 2014 Mobile Market Share: Google Chrome, Opera Mini – Up; Safari, Android Browser, Internet Explorer – Down
It’s the middle of May as we dig into the previous month’s mobile market share data.
Kicking things off with Safari, Apple’s web browser has seen a decrease of 2.14 points, from 53.91% to 51.77%.

Download Opera 21 Final
For those relying on the final browser builds rather than playing with betas and alphas, here comes the stable release of Opera 21.
One of the key features of Opera 21 is the inclusion of Aura, which, as we mentioned earlier is the UI stack developed by Google that utilizes GPU whenever possible, increasing performance and so on.
As far as other features go, there is one worth mentioning: you can now show the full URL in the address bar. That’s pretty much it minus few fixes.

2014 Chromebook Models Announced
Nothing high end yet.
During yesterday’s event in San Francisco, Intel, Google and OEMs (Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, LG and Toshiba) have announced a new lineup of Chromebooks, in shapes, sizes and colors.
ASUS will be releasing two new laptops: the ASUS C200 Chromebook (11-inch) and ASUS C300 Chromebook (13-inch) that are set to replace their currently the number one laptop on Amazon.

Download Google Chrome 36 Canary
With some Bing improvements.
Now here’s something odd yet good for those that have set Bing as a default search engine. According to Francois Beaufort, the latest version of Chrome Canary includes a pretty subtle yet neat change.
From now on, if you set Bing as your default search provider, the pre-release build of Chrome instead of displaying a grid of used pages, will display full Bing.com front page with daily photo and all the other Microsoft goodies.
