Download Firefox 12 Final
If you have not yet received an update notification, then here is your chance to download the final version of Firefox 12.
While the following build does not bring any significant improvements, it’s update after all and who doesn’t like to run the latest and greatest build?
So what will you see in this release? Mostly improvements for the web developers and a couple of known issues.
Firefox 12 Final Changelog
– Windows: Firefox is now easier to update with one less prompt (User Account Control)
– Page Source now has line numbers
– Line breaks are now supported in the title attribute
– Improvements to “Find in Page” to center search result
– URLs pasted into the download manager window are now automatically downloaded
– The column-fill CSS property has been implemented
– Support for the text-align-last CSS property has been added
– Experimental support for ECMAScript 6 Map and Set objects has been implemented
– Fixed where WebGL performance may be degraded on some OS X hardware
Oh well, grab it while we wait for Firefox 13.

This is just sad FF want to be like chrome, every new version for every small change.
That’s a ridiculous thing to say. What the hell does a version number have to do with anything? The quicker we get features the better for everyone. Go use IE if you like waiting 1-2 years for new features.
I like the Firefox/Chrome approach of releasing a new version every 6 weeks but surely there’s a better way than to use version numbers, right? The numbers don’t mean anything anymore.
The only problem is every new version number breaks some addons.
