Fennec Reaches Beta 1, Improves Performance, Enables Plug-Ins
The first beta version of Fennec (Firefox Mobile) has been released some time ago. During the Fennec Beta 1 development, team focused on performance and responsiveness improvements. New Firefox JavaScript engine which is called TraceMonkey is now a part of Fennec as well. As a result, browsing performance improved a lot.

Should increase the speed of the GUI too, given that JavaScript is used for dynamic XUL.
Too bad my crappy Windows Mobile phone can’t handle WLAN properly and also refuses to upgrade the OS via LiveConnect (or whatever it’s called) :(
You don’t have to be angry:

So it’s a version for a few only. (PC doesn’t count, it’s much faster than PDA-s)
