Unreal Engine 3 Coming To The Web

Who knew that one day you would play amazing games directly from your browser? Thanks to Mozilla and their recent JavaScript optimizations, the open source organization is teaming up with Epic Games to bring Unreal Engine 3 titles to the web; no plugins required.

Although the announcement lacks any details, Mozilla did reveal that they are working with companies like EA, ZeptoLab and Disney to bring these performance optimization to various titles and enhance your experience.

    I had submitted the same idea to Opera Software, sadly it seems I hadn’t been heard.

    The bad thing is that they are making their own language to achieve that, just like Google with NaCl (Native Client). Cross-browser languages does not seem to be the goal of browser vendors anymore…
