November, 2013 Desktop Market Share: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari – Up; Firefox, Opera – Down

Still being the king of the hill, Internet Explorer managed to increase its market share again, from 58.22% to 58.36% (0.14 point jump).

Struggling to gain any traction, Mozilla’s Firefox numbers are shrinking again, down from 18.70% to 18.54% (0.16 point decrease).

After dropping like a stone for quite some time, Google Chrome is up by mere 0.02 point this time, from 15.42% to 15.44%.

Being the second web browser that continues to experience some sort of significant growth, Apple’s Safari is up by 0.06 point, from 5.84% to 5.90%.

Lastly, Opera, continuing the downtrend, from 1.42% to 1.39% (0.03 point decrease).

    how can one know this is for real? other statistics are showing google chrome as number 1, followed by internet explorer and firefox being third
