“These new browsers had features like tabbed browsing”.

Yeah, but lets not forget about who invented the idea!!

Opera should be definitely mentioned here. It had tabbed browsing before FF and Safari even existed.

As jefri said Opera had MDI than later incorporated tabs after Netcaptor invented them for the browser scene (I believe adobe truly ‘invented’ tabs – if I am not mistaken)

The correct analogy would be that Opera was the first ever browser to move the tabs towards the top of the screen and also have it on top of the navigation bar.

IE 6 needs to die. Even if you are at work, you should not be surfing the inter webs for hot models like that Australian bloke (poor channel 7)

Heck yeah! And what an “invention” that is, almost as great as Apple’s place the titlebar buttons on the wrong side “invention”, or how about the “don’t show labels for icons” invention, now that’s surely something that took a lot of effort.

I’m guessing you do not fancy tabs; Fair enough. Enjoy IE6

Note: If that was sarcasm, you failed miserably.

It’s an answer to this particular part of your comment and if you can’t see how that relates to my comment then you are truly blind.

Are you or are you not dissing tabbed browsing? I believe my comment was appropriate. If not, you are welcome to show me the light

I am using the Block IE6 plugin ( http://vasthtml.com/js/wordpress-block-ie6-plugin/ ) on our WordPress-MU installation and including a URL to this page so any IE6 user can see why they were blocked.

    Thanks for explaining it clearly.

Two fight and the third wins.(look at the scene where Netscape and IE fight,Opera is the boss on the tower that watches them and the dragon is Mozilla) :)
