YouTube to Stop Supporting IE6 on March 13
Starting from March 13th, Internet Explorer 6 users will receive the following notification, when watching video:
Google also added: “Stopped support essentially means that some future features on YouTube will be rolled out that won’t work in older browsers.”

This is very good news. Unfortunately, since youtube is an entertainment site, it will probably have very little effect among the real IE6 offenders (lazy corporations that don’t care if their employees can watch funny videos). It would probably be more effective to end IE6 support on google.com

I think this is more than rejecting IE for in using You tube
it is a pressure on MS to upgrade or (ie user) to newer ie version
which make people design their sites with IE8 standers (if they still use IE) or Chrome standards, both is an adv to Google because IE8 more compatible with Chrome

There’s one such thing as Portable Firefox, and I’m pretty sure some other browsers have similar versions, so if people are still “stuck” with IE6 in their corporate environment, it’s their damned very own fault.
More on topic, this is the best news in a long while… This is mostly the resultcof browser competition. No Chrome, no decision like this from Google.
