Disqus Is Back
It looks like there is some sort of bug with WordPress/Plugin that causes script to create hundreds of loops when posting a comment.
As a result, Disqus will replace default system.
If you don’t see comments in some of the posts, give it few minutes, they are now imported.

All set!
Great news. I hope this is here to stay, will maybe help to keep trolls away.
and i’m not so happy with that, but as i do not know the full reasoning ill asume that it is the best way to go.
however sync issues, propagation issues and badly styled ‘recent comments’ box do sux a little. same as default comment list style that is simply too bloated with tons of wasted space. ill just stick with articles/rss
Agree with that, will try style it over the weekend, although full styling is available for ~$140 / month only.
it seems that everything you’d need to style can be easily hooked with id’s – side box is ul#sidebarwidgeted and list itself is #dsq-content – so i do not think that you need any fancy editor – some simple css should do.
disqus probably is still not propagating comments on this page to all colocation centers (it is not engadget anyway..) so there might be weird sync issues. due to these disqus isnt generaly viable for small portals. remote/distributed comments systems are for the biggest portals anyway..
Or download a nice theme
Do you think previous recent comments box had better styling? What visual changes do you recommend to do?
Do not change it back Vygantas
DISQUS? No more mobile commenting then…
Oh thanks, i appriciate that!
