Is that North Korea that’s n/a?
They don’t have any international communication then?
yes, they don’t have any international communication
north korea has only some promotion sites
north korea is a despotic country
omg Opera
its funny cause all those countries with shitty internet dont even use opera even tho it has a tthe turbo feature
You mean like Americas and Africa? Cause thats pretty much where they have shitty internet…
No, most of the world is actually on shitty connections, unfortunately.
Opera web browser should be used by more people. It’s the fastest and safest browser in the world.
This is impressive but looking at the second map make me want to paint it all red, ha! The first one is really deceptive but statistics are statistics… I’m sure it will soon change. Opera on mobile is so popular that it must get websites designed specifically for it alone ;)
Yep. The so-called open standardization. Omg, I love how all the Opera users creep around on pages like this assuming that they are the holy guys who are free of the market because they use a browser noone else uses and wanting to be affirmed in their opinion. You know, I have used Opera for quite a long time and switched back to Firefox because it was just better in my eyes.
How so? By deafult FF doesn’t even have scroll smoothing on Windows (the feature even IE6 had). I find it really jaring when i go to FF just when i scroll. I personally prefer Opera’s default behaviors of tabs better then FF. But if you want FF style its only a few options away….
In my eyes, Opera can be whatever you want it to be, Firefox your more so stuck with whats there. As well as the current stable version is one of the slowest on the market (don’t even get my started on CSS compatibility, as a part time web designer, this is really annoying).
Standards are great, Opera has been really strict with them from day 1. It made Opera less popular back in the day because websites never complied with standards. But now they do (thank god) :).
PS: Your statement sort of contradicts itself…. If they are using a browser because no one uses it, why would they want more followers? Its more or less, its a great browser, few people give it a go, i wish others could have my experience.
PSS: Chrome is my second fav browser, again for speed and compatibility reasons.
Smooth Scrolling is available in FF under Preferences → Advanced (or however, I don’t know, I don’t use it in English). I always got struggling with Opera’s tab behaviour, Firefox opens the tabs where I want them to be.
You’re right, Firefox 3.x is crap, it made me switch to Opera, but the Firefox 4 Betas were just better for me, even though they are Beta.
Yep, Opera has full Acid3-compatibilty, I actually only wanted to say that psalmsninetyone’s opinion (“it must get websites designed specifically for it alone”) was trash.
Opera is a great browser under the hood, but I don’t like the way I have to use it.
I know that smooth scrolling can be enabled, but like i said, “By default FF doesn’t even have scroll smoothing on Windows “. It must be enabled externally for some strange reason……
I’m using Linux and I Opera doesn’t offer smooth scrolling for me at all…
And honestly, navigating to the settings and setting the browser on smooth scrolling once at setting up your computer is no reason to use an other browser :D
I deem the first map to depict worrying content. :[
Is there any second place country usage map?I am sure in the second map, black will spread soon
