Acer Announces New Chromebook With Haswell Processor
Brace yourselves for a new wave of Chromebooks.
Thanks to a fresh line up of Intel Haswelll processors, OEMs have announced a bunch of new Windows and Chrome OS laptops.
Starting with a new (and much thinner (0.75 inch) as well as lighter (2.76 pounds)) Acer Chromebook, you can expect a pretty significant bump in the battery life, which will now last up to 8.5 hours.
As far as specs go, it’s business as usual: 11.6 inch 1366 x 768 resolution display, two USB ports, HDMI port, SD Card slot and a standard headphone jack.
While we wait for the price announcement, you can check Engadgets hands on (pictures and video) in the following page.
