Amazon’s Silk Browser Updated

With fresh UI and more.

If you are getting tired of news about the dominant web browsers then here’s something to mix things up: a new (and much needed) release of Amazon’s Silk browser, which hasn’t seen a major updated since August, 2012.

So what can you expect from this build? Starting with the user interface itself, Amazon made quite a few changes, from the overall look and feel to the first time launch tutorial.

That’s not all though, Silk Browser also features a new start / tab page, which was adjusted based on the customer usage patterns. As a result, the direct URL entry bar and “Most Visited” links are now more prominent than they’ve ever been.

Anything else? Yes. Performance improvements and tons of other, UI related changes. Head over to the Amazon’s page for all the details.
