Poll: Weekly Browsers Recap

By | May 26, 2010 | 20 Comments

I’d like to hear your opinions about weekly browsers recap. Here’s what I think: instead of linking to all the news articles, I would cover them in this blog.

Pros: wouldn’t have to wait whole week to read about something, what had happened 5 days ago or so.
Cons: ?

Replace weekly recap with news articles instead?

And we are back…

By | May 25, 2010 | 18 Comments

And we are back…In case you were wondering about the decreased amount of news, etc…

Basically, I was balancing between studying/trading Forex and my studies at the University. As you have noticed, this lead into the “late/no news” situation.

Anyhow, it’s time to move on. Therefore, I have decided to quit studies (at the University) and focus on things I enjoy doing. As George Shinn said: “Growth means change and change involves risk, stepping from the known to the unknown.”

P.S. I will continue studying English to improve my writing :-)

So, give me a day or two to sort everything out and we are ready to go.

Well, for the upcoming Firefox 4 release, Mozilla is planning to bring such tool back and make it a part of web browser again.

While Web Inspector is not intended to replace Firebug, it can be used for basic tasks, such as: elements identification or site structure overview.

By | May 18, 2010 | 21 Comments

Chrome to Replace Firefox in Ubuntu? If UberGizmo rumor is true, Canonical, a company behind Ubuntu is planning to ditch Firefox web browser in favor of Google Chrome (or Chromium).

In fact, Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.10 should be the very first version to do that.

How this version differs from the desktop release? It has a new interface, designed for restricted size machines that features a single menu bar design (more about it here).

It’s still unclear, whether same changes are planned for desktop version or not.
