New to Google Chrome Guide

Opera 10.10 Beta Released, But Is It Faster? Updated
First Opera 10.10 Beta has been just released and can be downloaded from the following page.
This release now includes Opera Unite platform with applications such as: Media Player, File Sharing, Photo Sharing and more. Also, experimental crash feedback and various bug fixes.
As changelog is not yet released, we are not aware of any other new features.
On the other hand, BetaNews reports that Opera 10.10 is actually slower is some areas than its predecessor.
Opera 10 Beta 1 tended to post slower rendering times than the stable version, with the exception being a slightly faster rendering score in XP.

“Stable” Google Chrome for Mac OS X Released
Today Google has released yet another build of its Chrome web browser for Mac OS X. While final version should be ready by the end of this year, Gizmodo reports, that this release is quite solid and worth a try.
Google itself describes those releases as lacking certain privacy features and not appropriate for general consumer use.

Firefox 3.7 Receives Windows 7 Jumplist Support

With the upcoming Windows 7 release, developers are working hard to take an advantage of new OS features such as jumplist. Some time ago, Google has implemented the following feature into its Chrome web browser, and now, the latest Firefox build on Mozilla’s Tryserver includes Windows 7 Jumplist support as well.
As you can see from the screenshot, users will be able to quickly access their most frequent visited web pages and open new tab and/or window easily.

Fennec Beta 4 for Maemo Released
Mozilla today released the fourth beta of Fennec for Maemo OS2008 and Maemo 5 software platforms.
You can test it on Nokia N810, N900 devices as well as Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
One of the first noticeable changes in Beta 4 is the fact that it now works with Nokia N900 handsets. Also, it has received various improvements, tweaks and bug fixes.

Firefox 3.6 Beta Ships Next Week, 3.5.4 Follows
The long awaited Firefox 3.6 (Namaroka) Beta is going to be released on 13 October, followed by Firefox 3.5.4 on 21 October. With the final version shipping in November, Firefox 3.6 is set to improve performance, several new CSS features and other architectural improvements.
