Ford Shows Some Love to Opera Browser
As the technologies advance, car maker Ford decided to include Opera Browser into their new F-150, Super Duty, E-Series and Transit Connect trucks and vans to attract more buyers.
“Opera’s vision has always been about giving people access to the full Web anytime, anywhere,” explains Rod Hamlin, Senior Vice President Americas for Opera Software. “No example showcases this better than delivering a fast, feature-rich Web browser to a vehicle. This solution will allow Ford truck and van owners to maintain a virtual work environment with access to all of the important files, information and applications they need on a daily basis.”

Firefox 3.0.8 Released
Although Firefox 3.0.8 was planned for release next week, Mozilla managed to rush it and has already fixed 2 critical security issues.
This is a recommended security update for all Firefox 3 users.
Firefox 3.0.8 – Next Week
Mozilla will be releasing Firefox 3.0.8 next week which should fix exploitable crash in bug (marked as critical) discovered earlier this week.
The current release date is set to March 30 – April 1.
Opera Mobile 9.7 Details Emerge
The first details on the upcoming Opera Mobile 9.7 release have been revealed. One of the key features in the following version will be Opera Turbo support. In the demo video a complex page with Opera Turbo enabled managed to load site 3x times faster than the one without it.
Opera Mobile 9.7 will also speed up browsing experience due to rendering engine improvements. Actually, it will use Presto 2.2 engine (same as in Opera 10).
