Firefox 3.0.6 Released
Continuing its “10 Fuc*ing Days” promise, Mozilla has released a new Firefox 3.0.x build which fixes a total of 6 vulnerabilities.

Opera’s Comeback to Browser Wars

Firefox 3.1 Delayed 3rd Time
Set to be released on Feb 2, Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 was delayed one more time.
As for now, Mozilla haven’t announced new release date yet.
According to Mozilla’s director of Firefox development, they don’t have an estimate date of new Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 release as there are still some tricky and complicated issues which should be fixed first.

It is time to check how web browsers market share is doing in the first month of 2009.
Internet Explorer continues its trend with a loss of 0.6%, from 68.15 to 67.55.
Firefox has grabbed an extra of 0.19% market share, from 21.34% to 21.53%

Firefox 3.1 Delayed (Again)
Mozilla has delayed Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 release again, stating new JavaScript engine bugs as the main reason.
There are still 18 bugs which need to be fixed before new beta.
New release date should be revealed within few days.

ZDNet Australia has compared the following web browsers in SunSpider (yet again) and Google V8 2 benchmarks:
Internet Explorer 8 Release Candidate 1 (RC1)
Firefox 3.1b1 (although b2 was released some time ago)

Opera 10.00 Alpha
