Waiting for Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8)?
Not so long to wait. Microsoft expects to release Internet Explorer 8 Beta after Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP 1). They’ve promised to release a beta version of IE 8 till June. But we all know how Microsoft changes most of their software release dates, so maybe July? With the “leaked Internet Explorer 8 features”, it is also know that IE8 will be compatible with Windows Vista and Windows XP. However, due technical differences, some additional security features will work on Windows Vista only.

2 Mozilla Firefox Design Mistakes?
Some time ago I’ve reviewed the upcoming addons.mozilla.org web design and right after that, decided to write a few thoughts regarding Firefox home page itself. Although I already did that about a half year ago, they’ve added a picture, which doesn’t make any sense at all.
I’m talking about dark blue woman figure in the right side of web page. Let’s take a look at the following picture:

Opera Dragonfly. The Next Big Thing?
David Storey from Opera team recently blogged about something called “Opera Dragonfly”. While no one knows what it is, Opera team keeps teasing everyone (like they always do). Here’s a quote from David Storey blog post:
So what exactly is Opera Dragonfly? I won’t say quite yet, but I do think that, in my opinion, it is the most important project we have on going at the moment, and probably since I’ve been at the company. It won’t directly affect everybody, but will hopefully become invaluable for those that it does. We’ll likely have more to say about it at SxSW in Austin Texas.
5 Web Browsers Download Manager Features to Kill Internet Download Accelerators
Web browsers developers are trying to make files download process as good as possible. When Internet Explorer was launched, files download process was not so user friendly, lots of corrupted files and unstable download speed (actually, IE team haven’t changed anything yet). More and more people downloaded additional programs for faster and better files download experience. Since then, other web browsers developers learned from Internet Explorer mistakes and started to add additional features into web browsers integrated download managers. One of the most important features was an ability to resume downloads. Continue Reading

Firefox Add-Ons Page Upcoming Design (Review)
It looks like Mozilla team is making more changes before the upcoming Firefox 3 release. This time they are working on new addons.mozilla.org web page design. While it’s still under development, I’ve found pretty much things which I didn’t like at all. Since I’m designer myself, here are the things which I didn’t like: Continue Reading
