How to Migrate From Netscape to Firefox and Thunderbird
A few weeks ago Netscape announced that they won’t be developing any new Netscape Navigator releases in the near future. As this web browser is really similar to Firefox, most of the current Netscape Navigator users will probably move to Firefox.
If you are using Navigator and would like to know more about migrating from it to Firefox, there’s a nice tutorial called “Migrating from Netscape to Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird” in their blog. Hope you will find it useful. Continue Reading
SpaceTime – 3D Web Browsing
Now this is something interesting. Have you ever heard about SpaceTime? No? You should check their web page then and watch the video. Firstly I thought that it’s just yet another useless “feature”, however, after watching SpaceTime demo video, I’ve changed my mind. It is not as useless as I thought. Check this screenshot for example: Continue Reading
New Firefox Campaign – It’s Just Wrong
There’s a video which should do some kind of marketing I guess (and it really does):
So according to that video, Firefox users compared to IE users are:
14% less likely to have sleeping disorders
67% more likely to go mountain biking
40% less likely to be widowed Continue Reading

Happy New Year!
May this year be at least twice better than the previous ones :-)
By the way, some site changes are on the way.
Netscape Navigator Leaves Web Browsers Industry
Seems everyone is talking about that right now. You got it right. According to the article (posted in Netscape blog), after February 1’st, AOL won’t be developing any further Netscape Navigator releases. The browser will be left on its own fate. Eh… Remember old times?
…
Netscape Navigator Market Share
It was the world’s most popular web browser and now its over. Internet Explorer will be next? I bet it will, I bet it will. If Microsoft will continue to use same “logic” while developing IE, someday you might see similar topic like this, just about Internet Explorer.
As for now, most of the current Netscape Navigator users will probably switch to Firefox and increase its market share.
That’s it. Check Netscape Navigator at Wikipedia if you want to remember old times.

Merry Christmas Everyone
For those who are celebrating… I just wanted to wish everyone of you a calm and warm Christmas Eve, have a wonderful Christmas with those who you love.
It’s time to forget about web browsers and stop flaming. Well… At least for a day or two :-)
Merry Christmas,
Spreading Opera Mini 4 (Video)
It was about time for the second video (which is promoting Opera Mini). Last time it was Opera Mini vs. iPhone (see here) and now something similar to “commercial”, although bit too long as a “real commercial” which would be on TV or so. Video itself is nicely made, great idea but nothing catchy. I am not sure yet, but I think that I’ve seen something really similar to this video a while ago. Also was wondering if RIM (Research in Motion) made any impact there, as all I can see is BlackBerry?
What do you think?
