First Chrome OS Tablet Might Be Coming This Month
April 29 is the date.
If you’ve been dreaming about a tablet running Google’s Chrome OS then April might as well be the month when your dreams do come true.
According to ZDNet, Acer is planning an event at the end of April where the company will reveal all kinds of hardware, including a possible Chrome OS tablet, which so far remains a mystery.

Mozilla CEO Resigns Over Gay Drama
Is it over?
It looks like Mozilla is about to get a new CEO as the most recent one, Brendan Eich has just resigned over the support of anti-gay marriage bill. The news come after a couple of Eich’s interviews where he repeatedly said that he will not resign over this issue. All sources claim that it was his own decision and that it wasn’t forced by the board.
According to recode, Mozilla Executive Chairwoman Mitchell Baker “became emotional at one point during the interview – noted that she was “doing a fair amount of self-reflection and I am wondering how did I miss it that this would matter more when he was the CEO.”

Download Opera 21 Next
Aura, aura, aura.
Good news, the latest “Next” build of Opera 21 now includes a support for Aura, a hardware accelerated rendering for things like browser menus, buttons, dialogs, etc. Basically, Aura is the UI stack developed by Google that utilizes GPU whenever possible, increases performance and yes, Chrome has it too.
As far as major changes go that’s pretty much it for the Opera 21 Next, with one more feature being an ability to show the full URL in the address bar when advanced settings are enabled.

Half Of Mozilla’s Board Steps Down Following The Appointment Of A New CEO

According to the Wall Street Journal, three out of six Mozilla board members have stepped down before the new CEO announcement has been made public.
First in the list is a former Mozilla CEO, John Lilly, followed by another former CEO Gary Kovacs and CEO of online education startup Shmoop, Ellen Siminoff.

Crazy Rumors: Internet Explorer Might Come To Android
Can it be true?
With the recent reveal of Office or iPad and Android, it looks like there is a new (and absolutely crazy) rumor in town (which comes from unverified source via Twitter): Microsoft is porting Internet Explorer for Android.
While at first glance it does not seem realistic, one might wonder if the software giant has decided to spread even more of their services across different platforms rather than making them MS exclusive, which was the case with Xbox Live Games (some of them are now on iOS and Android), Office, etc.
