Internet Explorer 10 Features Auto Correct, Fancy Standards Support
With the addition of a spell check, the latest Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview 3 build that comes with the Windows 8 Developer Preview (download here) now includes a new auto correct feature, according to Microsoft.
Furthermore, IE10 PP3 now supports CSS Text Shadow, CSS 3D Transforms, CSS3 Transitions and Animations, CSS3 Gradient, SVG Filter Effects and other web standards.

Firefox 9 Release Date, JM And Type Inference Engine Numbers
With the upcoming addition of Type Inference, a new JavaScript type inference engine for Firefox 9, Mozilla has recently included its benchmark results in the AreWeFastYet web site.
According to the source, Jaegermonkey with TI enabled scores well above its predecessors and even manages to beat Google Chrome in the SunSpider JavaScript test.

Malware Protection: IE9 Smashes Other Web Browsers
Google responds.
Once again, NSS Labs, an independent security research organization, has tested top 5 five web browsers to find out, how good they are at blocking the socially engineered malware.
Has anything changed? In terms of ranking, not rally. However, Google Chrome saw a 340% or 10.2 percentage points improvement when compared to the previous report, which is definably a good news for all its users.

Web Browsers Malware Benchmark 2011
Internet Explorer 9 scores 99-100%.
NSS Labs, an independent network testing facility, has tested 5 most popular web browsers against the socially engineered malware, resulting in more controversy and flame wars all over the Internet.
Although some claim that results are sponsored by Microsoft, Rick Moy, the president of NSS Labs, said that while Microsoft did hire them to benchmark various web browsers few years ago, it was only to improve Internet Explorer’s security. However, after seeing some positive numbers, it was only then sent to the marketing department to do their thing.
