Microsoft Offers a Chance to Win a Laptop and Few Mouses
Surfing the web, I came across an interesting Microsoft ad (Lithuanian language).
What does it say?
Basically, if you download IE8 and register in the following site, you are eligible to win 1 out of 8 Microsoft Arc Mouses or Aspire 1410 Olympic Edition laptop.
Turns out, they were already giving away Lenovo laptop and Microsoft mouses some time ago as well.
What about IE8 market share in Lithuania? Continue Reading

Web Browser Books

Time Lapse Construction – Browser for the Better (Video)
Here is one more IE video which promotes BrowserfortheBetter.com campaign.
If you haven’t heard about “Browser for the Better” yet, then this line will explain pretty much everything: for every IE 8 download through that web site, Microsoft will donate 8 meals to Feeding America organization. Now enjoy the video.
Opera – So Fast, It Sings (Video)
Just found this one. A very old video, from the year 2006. Still, doesn’t make any sense to me :-) What about you?

Spread Firefox and Receive Prizes
What could be better than promoting your favorite browser and getting reward for that? New SpreadFirefox contest will be giving away iPod Touch, Flip Video Camera, iPod Nano and more, as it says:
“We have re-designed the Affiliates Reward program so that everyone with more than 5 downloads a quarter has an opportunity to be rewarded for their active membership.
We will offer ten rewards each quarter to ten individual Affiliates with incentives such as a Flip Video Camera, an iPod Touch, an iPod Nano, Amazon Gift Certificates and exclusive Top Fox T-shirts!”
So everything is quite simple. For more details, visit the contest page.
