Zynga Buys Flock
Zynga, a social game developer announced its plans to acquire somehow everyone’s forgotten, Flock web browser.
Although acquisition details were not revealed, according to some rumors, Google and Twitter were bidding for Flock as well.

Internet Explorer 9 Surpasses 20 Million Downloads Mark
RC coming in early 2011.
With the continuous web browser advertisements all over the web, Microsoft has announced that since the launch of Internet Explorer 9 Beta on the 15th of September, it has already been downloaded more than 20 million times.
Furthermore, according to the report, IE9 is already used by 0.46% of Internet users worldwide.

All right, it’s time to check the browsers market share stats for the last month of 2011 that is December.
Internet Explorer continues to fall and is now approaching 50% level, dropping from 58.44% to 57.08% (1.36 point decrease).
Firefox the first time in 3 months, Firefox has increased its market share by 0.05 point, from 22.76% to 22.81%.

WebGL: Flight of the Navigator
Here is an interesting take on WebGL + Audio API that was developed by Mozilla volunteers.
The whole demo world has been completed by using canvas element with a WebGL context while models, animations and 3D structures were created with Lightwave.
