Bolt 1.5 Mobile Browser out of Beta
With the release of version 1.5, mobile web browser Bolt has finally reached stable release tree. Claiming to be more than 15% faster than previous Beta 3 release, it aims to compete against Opera Mini or other popular web browsers.
Bolt has quite two strong points: it’s free and works with multiple platforms, such as: Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and pretty much every Java based handset. Also, they claim that “it loads pages at least 25%-50% faster than competing mobile browsers”.

RIM Seeking for Webkit C++ Programmers
MobileCrunch has spotted a job listing from RIM at LinkedIn, which indicates that they are looking for programmers to work on their Webkit based web browser.

The following listing is not a big surprise, especially when they have recently acquired Torch Mobile, the maker of mobile web browser Iris (Webkit based).
