A week of Firefox news.
As many people eagerly await the final version of Firefox 4, here comes the next-to-last beta build of this web browser.
With nearly 350 bugs fixed, this update also brings a couple of new features and enhancements:
Support for the proposed Do Not Track (“DNT”) header
Connection status messages are now shown in a small overlay
WebGL has been re-enabled on Linux
The default homepage design has been refreshed
Firefox no longer switches into offline mode automatically
Next stop: Firefox 4 Beta 12.

What the… They added new features now?
It’s still beta ;-)
That’s the point. Why are they adding new features into a beta product? It should only be bug fixes now.
Except Mozilla’s betas, and pretty much everyone’s betas are a stage where you are able to introduce features.

You’re statement that everyone’s betas are stages to introduce features is what’s unreal and ludicrous.
Except Mozillas betas are more likely everyone’s alphas.. 11 beta and still 350 bugs fixed.. FF is like bugs growing farm.. So with new development cycle, FF will have even more bugs??
as far as I know…features were tried in earlier betas then removed as they didn’t work as intended … now reinserted/re-enabled in this beta 11 once problems are fixed
