Download Maxthon Cloud Browser 4.0
Maxthon reimagined.
Now here is something to get you excited, a major browser release from something other than Microsoft or Google. As the name implies, the following build is all about the cloud. In fact, that’s where the majority of new features come from.
In addition to a much needed user interface redesign (although it still needs some work) and a new logo, Maxthon 4 focuses on three new things:
– Cloud Push: ability to send text, images and websites across a variety of Maxthon web browsers (Windows, Mac, Android and iOS).
– Cloud Tabs: automated tab sync for all your PCs, phones and tablets.
– Cloud Download: allows you to download and upload files to “My Cloud” for backup purposes on any device.
Wonder what the idea looks like? Check this video:
As far as other changes go, you can expect various speed and memory optimizations, can’t complain about that.
What do you think? Looks like Maxthon is betting big on the cloud, something what Microsoft used to talk about back in 2007. Unfortunately for them, Internet Explorer team still prefers sunshine over the clouds.

Bravo for Maxthon! For now mu only complains are finding the engine compatibility switch button and how to hide the extension sidebar
They can be found in the menu (next to the favourites button in the top-right corner), under the arrow in View and you’ll find the options for hiding the sidebar and showing the engine button on the address bar.
The UI is still a WIP so it’ll get better.
Is that blue tint related to the Windows theme or it’s how it will look like all the time?
Because now the whole color scheme is a mess

I’m afraid they disabled Aero, but can be brought back by replacing the Maxthon dll and the UI dat files from an earlier Maxthon 3 release.
