Europe And USA To Investigate Mozilla’s Claims
Just slightly more than a week ago, Mozilla and Google have accused Microsoft of using unfair practices to block competitive browsers on their Windows 8 RT platform, now, it looks like things did not get unnoticed.
Recently, the US Senate Judiciary Committee has announced that they will investigate allegations of the anti-competitive behavior by Microsoft. In addition to that, the European Commission will be joining the party as well.
However, although EU and Microsoft have struck a deal back in 2009, the European antitrust regulators noted that it’s not yet clear, whether this agreement includes tablets or just “PCs”.
With the upcoming launch of Windows 8, it will be interesting to see how things progress from here.

Microsoft, Y U NO SHIP WINDOWS WITH FIREFOX PREINSTALLED?
Because mozilla doesn’t deserve any publicity.
Think of all the royalties mOzilla would get for a subpar browser
Nothing subpar about Mozilla Firefox browser. Much better than IE any day.
Funny. I do not recall chrome is havIng the option to install a third party browser
And Mozilla really needs to do better than bitch all day.
Chrome install a third party browser? Does not compute.
This is different from Apple’s iOS because… ?
Because it’s Apple that won’t allow any competition while Microsoft isn’t allowing any competition by design.
Because iOS is not a monopoly (or not convicted of being an illegal monopoly)?
