Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 (RC1) Released
It’s here. Mozilla team has released Firefox 3 RC1 which can be downloaded here.
The following release brings lots of improvements, changes and bug fixes. In fact, Gecko 1.9 (the platform on which Firefox 3 is based) has more than 14 000 updates. Overall, Firefox 3 includes security improvements such as malware protection, secure add-on updates, antivirus integration and much more.
It is a well known fact that Firefox 3 is incomparable faster than its successor, Firefox 2.
Besides security and performance improvements, it became friendlier to its users as well. While this is not a final release yet, it clearly shows what we should expect from the final version. Faster, more secure, more personal and easier to use web browser, Firefox 3.

Minor correcting, this IS a release candidate, so it IS a final version. Or at least it could be. If no bugs are found, it’s repackaged and released as the final version.
