Firefox 8 To Use IE9 Like User Protection
It looks like Mozilla is implementing more and more features from its competitors.
Just like in Internet Explorer 9, starting with Firefox 8, Mozilla will automatically block web browser add-ons that are not yet approved by the user.
In case other software installs an add-on, Firefox 8 will disable it and notify the user.
In the world where a plenty of companies inject their add-ons into Firefox, such as: Skype, anti-virus software, etc. it’s a very welcomed step nonetheless.

Good that if you just click continue it doesn’t activate the add-on.
Good, good.
Welcome Back!!
Hey, FanBoy… When do you think we’ll be able to “welcome back” Opera? If you check what progress Fx does in just one day, Opera does equivalent progress in one and a half month.
I really love
Chrome being around. Caused the drastic awakening of Mozilla. Not that
Fx was sleeping like Opera does. Just saying that accelerated the “adopt
and implement eventually old/new decisions faster”. While Opera devotes
an entire version just for SpeedDial -as a paradigm. Undoubtedly right
now is the slower and most bloated with the most and serious bugs. Worst
memory management, no hardware acceleration… and even the last stable
version ( 11.50 ), it’s new UI has a ton of glitches… It’s just
unacceptalbe. It’s like they don’t respect you at all. They release
version to met dumb deadlines while such bugs exist…
Anyone truly waste his time talking about Opera.
Today,
in Nightly, a greater and even speedier JavaScript Engine function
landed. Version 7 has extremely good memory management, better Hardware
Acceleration and as we proceed, as you see, better security and control.
On version 9, Fx will become again the King IN EVERY lalalala Aspect! Enjoy your [](/ForeverAlone) browser.
P.S. Sorry for the double post, the one below
Why so serious ?
Like I said if the first release of Opera 12 doesnt have hardware acceleration, and fix common bugs its DEAD no excuse ….

I’ve complained about the lack of this feature for years now. Or at least since when I first started seeing stories like this:
