You can fix this by aborting the firefox.exe process in the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)
Not a very elegant solution.
Yeah, you can fix that buy removing the trash off your Firefox and computer.
I never had this happen. But you cannot deny that with it’s add ons Firefox becomes – meh.
But what about people who are against the abortion?

They would need to try natural ways. :P
This happen to me in Opera :((( any reason why this is happening ?
possibly Opera is doing maintenance on a mail account or Opera Link is syncing ? or a bug.
Yes, it usually seems to be maintenance/syncing that keeps the opera.exe process running after you close it.
I had this problem some time ago, but it was my PC.
