First Firefox Metro For Windows 8 Screenshots
Don’t get too excited.
If everything goes as planned, Mozilla will release a working prototype of Firefox Metro in the second quarter of 2012, just in time for the Windows 8 RC. However, it does not mean that you will be left in the blank up until then.
Mozilla’s developer, Brian R. Bondy, has published a first batch of screenshots for the upcoming Firefox Metro build.
Although it does not look as fancy as the Metro version of Internet Explorer, this is a very early build and that should be noted.
In addition to that, Brian has made few remarks regarding the importance of the Metro as he said, “If a browser does not support Metro, it is seriously at risk of losing the default browser status, and therefore significant market share. A browser without support for Metro, if default, would be taking away a Metro browser completely from the user’s computer”, and we very much agree with him.
What do you think?

It is an early build but how can you ruin something like the metro language?
By making everything look the same.
How is that “Metro?” It follows none of the design principles at all; rather Mozilla have just gone with the “how-ugly-can-we-possibly-make-this” look.
Early build, but not available for us to pick holes in yet.
I guess it’s Metro because it uses the Metro framework? It might be ugly, but it’s just a prototype.
It’s metro because it works as a full screen app. What you see there is a phone to metro ported firefox mobile (“Fennec”).
Good to see Firefox is taking Metro UI serious. I want similar thing from Opera. Opera shows some sneek peak,..!!!
Nein Nein Nein
The entire metro thing is horrible. Seeing even websites taking the looks of the fugly metro UI.
Kill it, Kill it with fire.
BEFORE IT LAYS EGGS!!!
it looks just like Fennec for tablets (Firefox mobile)
That’s because it is
