Internet Explorer 11 Coming To Windows 7
Someday…
If you don’t plan to upgrade your Windows 7 machine and rely on Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, then today is your luck day as the software has confirmed to Engadget that they will release IE11 for Win7.
On a slightly downbeat note, Microsoft did not provide any timeframe and considering the fact that IE10 for Windows 7 was released 6 months after hitting Windows 8, you are up for a very long wait.

IE, Firefox, Chrome all have WebGL now… the biggest and most damaging holdout is Safari. Maybe it’ll be in iOS 8. Maybe? MAYBE??
:sigh: Well, if it does happen, 2015 will finally be WebGL’s big year to shine… 4 years after it first hit Chrome.
I hate the Web sometimes.
Safari DO HAVE WebGL albeit hidden behind settings…
So everybody and their grandmothers do WebGL on desktop now. (On mobile there may still be some laggers..)
I am aware of that. iAd also uses a UIWebView with WebGL enabled.
It has been that way for years and it means nothing for the industry until it’s generally available.
To put it bluntly:
OSX + WinV can not have more than 15% of internet market share…
So 70-80% of the net will have WebGL supported.
That will put even more pressure on GPU vendors to provide reliable drivers… (And since MS do certificate all gpu drivers on Win…)
