Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) JavaScript Engine: First Look

JavaScript engine team members John Montgomery, Steve Lucco and Shanku Niyogi give an early look at the upcoming IE9 JS engine. Doing some performance tests and comparing them to latest Firefox 3.6 Beta and Chrome releases.

    Are they kidding, the world larges software firm that has done browser for ore than 15 years are not able to build a JavaScript engine that is more than twice as slow as Google(and Opera). This has to be a joke, are they afraid of the Internet platform will take over for the windows platform and trying to slow the development?

      Yea I wonder too how they cant make good browser with so much more money than the other vendors, this is just sick! For start IE9 looks good but I remember IE7 and IE8, the same thing how they will follow standards and shit like the browser is “best than ever”, now I dont believe they can fix everything and make it work like normal browser until I see it.
