This means, IE6 & IE7 are almost died … Very good.

Also wondering why people use Firefox & Chrome instead of Opera. Can someone come up with the list , so that Opera team can see those ?
I truly, don’t know what Opera is missing.

      Bottomless Microsoft advertising budget?
Being able to bundle browser with OS?
      Bullyboy tactics and no ethics

That is a good starting point….

Opera ASA is confused atm about the direction they are going. I mean to start with do we classify the thing as a browser or internet suite?

You may be confused about Opera’s direction, but that doesn’t mean that they are. Opera is a browser with other tools bundled in a smaller package than other browsers.

Yes, Opera’s lack of money, and not to mention distribution channels, does prevent it from being advertised the way Chrome and other browsers are. Opera has done several successful viral campaigns.

What direction is Opera heading now, and why isn’t it marketable to new users? You don’t really seem to know where Opera is going, judging by your comment.

And what direction is Opera going?

Mobile, Desktop, Widgets, Unite, TV, Mail, Bit torrent Client, IRC?

It is funny how the users opposed extensions and now are embracing it as a second coming.

“Several viral campaigns” – Which Are?

So tell me. What am I missing?

Does “best experience on any device” ring a bell? I guess not… I guess the concept of being available on as many platforms as possible is difficult to grasp.

Anyway, I’m not sure why you mention extensions. Did anyone here oppose extensions? Or are you just fighting windmills?

If you don’t know about any viral campaigns from Opera I’m afraid I can’t help you. But you may recall a small iPhone campaign that even won an award?
