Internet Explorer Loses. Firefox, Safari and Opera Gains (June 08)
Yet another month passed by and it’s time to check how’s your favorite browser doing. On June, Firefox 3 and Opera 9.5 final versions were released. Did release increased those browsers market share? Let’s find out.
Internet Explorer continues its tradition to lose market share. This time it decreased by 0.74%, from 73.75% to 73.01%.
After Firefox 3 Final release and much attention, this browser increased its market share by 0.62%, from 18.41% to 19.03%.
Safari managed to increase its market share as well, from 6.25% to 6.31% (0.06% increase).
Same as Firefox 3, Opera released new web browser version – 9.5, as a result, its market share increased by 0.02%, from 0.71% to 0.73%.
Opera Mini market share remains the same: 0.05%.
