Leaked Internet Explorer 9 Screenshots
Chinese site LiveSino has posted possible Internet Explorer 9 screenshots, enjoy.
Fake or not, interface looks very similar to Microsoft Zune and Windows Phone 7 series: simple, yet intuitive.

Did you check the http://livesino.net/archives/2587.live page to read the article? It says “Happy April Fool’s Day”, in English, at the end of the article.
It’s an interesting interface, that would show innovation from the team if it were true. But it would work for me. No status bar readily available (particularly for the hover links), and that bing cache thing…
God…
Bing sucks.
And any browser that relies on it will tend to suck too.
God…
Now that is smexy. Even if its a fools joke, with the way MS is going with UI, I wouldn’t be all that surprised if they included this.
No matter what they do to that awful browser it is still Internet Exploder.
Actually, IE8 is not awful but in fact quite good! Microsoft is has already made many improvements towards standards compatibility!
And IE9 promises to be even better for standards and Javascript performance.
I would only say IE7 and IE6 are awful. IE8 is mainly just slow…..
IE8 is not quite good. Performance is awful and it hangs when you open a new tab. And it’s not like it lacks features, to be honest, but customization is terrible.
Sure, it’s quite good compared to IE6 or IE7, but not compared to Firefox 3.0 which had been released for over a year when IE8 came out, not for 3.5, which was released 2 months after IE8 and not for Opera 10 (in the same situation).
We can’t settle for less than we’re entitled to.
