March, 2015 Desktop Market Share: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera – Up; Internet Explorer – Down
Another month, another report.
As Microsoft continues to work on the Project Spartan, Internet Explorer’s market share keeps sliding down, this time by 0.84 point, from 57.38% to 56.54%.
Google Chrome on the other hand is extremely close to crossing the 25% mark, up from 24.69% to 24.99% (0.3 point increase).
Next is Firefox, which (surprisingly) increased its market share by 0.29 point, up from 11.60% to 11.89%.
Apple’s Safari has too managed to increase its market share, up from 4.84% to 5.00% (0.16 point increase).
Lastly, Opera, up from 1.09% to 1.15% (0.06 point increase).
That’s all for now, folks.

Big pile of poop .
Why do they list Netscape at 0.33% & not Opera at 1.15% & if Opera is in Other’s 1.24% that leaves 0.09% for all the other small browsers ..Maxthon, Comodo ,Sea Monkey etc……..
Opera is Chrome now. The old Opera is dead, and very few people use it.
Around 50 million desktop users is more than very few.
explain why Netscape is in the list ?
Opera 12 is used by less than 50 million desktop users.
And 50 million desktop users is a small number in comparison to other browsers. Not very few. But those aren’t the numbers for Opera 12, which is the “old Opera”.
