Open Documents Online with FirefoxNow this is one of the must have add-ons for Firefox 1.5-3.0.

Open IT Online allows you to open your documents and images online without the need of any software to be installed. Open IT Online supports Google Docs, Zoho and ThinkFree online services. It handles:

– Documents (*.doc, *.rtf, *.odt, *.sxw)
– Spreadsheets (*.xls, *.csv, *.ods, *.sxc)
– Presentations (*.ppt, *.pps, *.odp, *.sxi)
– Images (*.jpg, *.gif, *.png)

When Firefox encounters one of the file types supported by Open IT Online, it shows the “Open With” dialog: if you have installed Open IT Online, you will get, among the others, an option to open the file online. Choosing this option, you will also have the possibility to choose which online service you want to use to open the file.

Open IT Online shows you also the file size of the document you could see online: this information helps you determining if you want to open the file online or not.
