WOW. 20% faster than the latest Chrome nightly, 35% faster than Chrome released..
That’s REALLY impressive, Opera kills everything else in performance, features AND standards compliance.
20% faster than Chrome? I doubt that. If anything, they are just about even. But I’m sure the Chrome guys have more performance stuff up their sleeves.
You were saying that about Chrome 5 too. I am pretty sure the developers of Opera have more up their sleeve too if Chrome gets ahead.
but why I don’t feel that opera fast than chrome in 10.50 until 10.60 alpha ??
@yamin
benchmark and real world testing should be different depending your internet connection speed and condition, in my experience i can load gmail, facebook and google wave much faster on Opera than Chrome
oh … thanx man I didn’t know that before
Wow!! Opera rocks, I hope the Opera users will increase on PC.
Opera has already grown its userbase, but not as fast as Chrome ;)
Opera PC has increased only 0.46 % in a year.

Currently they are are at 2.43 % , I want Opera to be atleast more than 5 % to push the bigger companies to have Opera in their test matrix , to make sure all the sites in this world works well with Opera.
It isn’t possible to measure real market share. All we know is that Opera has gained millions of users the last few months. Chrome has gained even more million users of course.
For me Chrome was (current release) was little bit faster on Linux. However during Peacekeeper test I’ve had 20+ tabs opened in Opera, when in Chrome only one :P
Chrome is cheating in the Peacekeeper test, if you look at the test where the ball is rolling. The ball don’t crash they slip right through.
What is the Data test entail? Maybe this is why Chrome is faster at browsing. For me opera doesn’t stream too well. You can test this for yourself http://www.youtube.com/my_speed – do test video. Compare it to other browsers
I see chrome gets a very big score in this part compared to opera
Mark Gillespie results (you can find his post in the recent 10.60 snapshot):

*Sigh*
Does anyone know how to make Firefox’s addressbar behave like Opera’s used to? You know: one word – go to url, multiple words – search
oo i know i know!!!
install opera!
Post- 10.5 Opera doesn’t do this anymore. I’m still using 10.1, but already sites like Youtube are breaking in it.
Opera is aware of the problem and the number of people complaining, but still won’t give us the option to change it back.
