And f*** of the user experience. This is sad :(
Travesty.
Desktop/laptop users of Opera can’t be important to Opera any more! Shame but there are plenty of other browsers & opera desktop market share was tiny anyway
Yet desktop makes up 25% of the revenue of Opera ASA.
The new browser is here because desktop is important. If it wasn’t, they would just let it die instead of actually doing something.
You are an idiot.

Hello welcome to the world of sarcasm.
“If you’re a power-user (and if you’re reading this, you almost certainly are) and you find that Opera 15 doesn’t have a feature you depend upon, first check the growing list of extensions. You may find our basic bookmarks manager extension fits the bill — or you may find the cottonTracks extension is an innovative way to solve a problem. If you miss Notes, try the Evernote extension.”
“If you find Opera 15 is missing something that you absolutely depend on, that’s why we still have Opera 12 out”
What Opera did with that post was to say a very “FUCK YOU” to their long term Opera users. It is inadmissible to not have real bookmarks as a native feature. And people that used Opera used it because of the features and customization. May be I am switching to Firefox, because it now is better than Opera in those fields. If Opera want to be Chrome, I will definitively abandon it.
I think bookmarks will return I do love the new speed dial but it is no replacement for the bookmarks panel , if they added sub groups it might work I think i could live with that.
Why did they say fuck you to long term users? Long term users can still use Opera 12.
This is surprisingly similar to what Mozilla’s UX team says about Australis.

I guess this step of the Opera similar to the Windows 8.0. After a short period of time, after the tasting/testing the Opera 15.0, it was unistalled and installed the Opera 12.15 again.
I hate that you can’t automatically clear history on exit. Same with Chrome, but atleast I can permanently enable incognito mode.
Wow you must love to burn your HDD/SDD life.
As if that would seriously stress the storage disks…
They came with the most stupid arguments they ever could!!
