Opera 9 Bug – Inaccessible Links
It seems that there is one very old bug in Opera browser (tried with Opera 9.21 and 9.22 Beta as well). Sometimes it is impossible to navigate when reading post, for example this one as “Netscape Navigator 9 Beta 2 – Impressions Firefox 2.0.0.5 Released” links are unclickable. It doesn’t happen always, althought it’s really a bug and not this site fault, see this prove, impossible to click for me when using Opera.

I’ve noticed this long time ago, actually right after I’ve made this blog public, thats why I’ve just added “Home Page” in the top so Opera users could navigate. Hope it will be fixed soon as it’s annoying one.

Copy cat, lol, j/k. It is a long standing bug. Your pages are almost all valid (this one has a couple tag errors on it. Just goes to show that no browser is perfect, however, I’m thinking this bug will be sorted out by the time Kestrel is released..but that day seems like it will never come, lol. Every week it’s the same thing..a few more weeks. :(
Thanks for the excellent posts. I wish there were more news in the browser world, but these days..everyone’s debugging so long that the news runs dry.
(by the way, your math problems are always messing up, not sure what the problem is..7+8=15..right?)
In this case, I managed to click the links at first. But when I navigated back in the history from the page the link brought me to, they were then unclickable… hmmmmm.
Kyle,
Fixed :-) (actually turned off that plug-in).
Joel, yes, I actually don’t understand why this bug isn’t fixed.
