Firefox 3.6.9 and 3.5.12 Released
Lots of releases today; one of them is security and stability update for Firefox 3.6.x and 3.5.x web browsers.
Firefox 3.6.9 fixes a total of 67 bugs, including 14 security vulnerabilities that are also patched in 3.5.x branch.
In addition, latest stable release now includes a support for The X-Frame-Options response header.

Safari 5.0.2 and 4.1.2 Released
Recently, Apple has released updates for both branches of its web browsers. As usual, latest version includes a couple of big fixes:
Fixes an issue that could prevent users from submitting web forms
Fixes an issue that could cause web content to display incorrectly when viewing a Google Image result with Flash 10.1 installed
Establishes an encrypted, authenticated connection to the Safari Extensions Gallery
As well as security related patches.

Fake IE9 Video Leaks, Press Freaks Out
There seem to be a lot of buzz about the recently “leaked” IE9 video. If you have yet to see it, check the video above.
What boggles my mind is the fact that quite a few tech sites consider it to be real and already discussing “how clean the UI is”. Seriously, people?
P.S. Boy oh boy, what if this video turns out to be a real thing and IE9 is actually that bad…
Microsoft Starts Advertising IE9
Although IE9 is yet to be released, it looks like software giant Microsoft has already began rolling ad campaign to promote upcoming web browser.
One of such ads was noticed by IStartedSomething on TechCrunch blog and it’s highly likely that similar banners are shown over dozens of blogs and/or popular sites.
