Firefox 3.0.7 Released

As reported yesterday, Firefox 3.0x branch security and stability update 3.0.7 has been released and can be downloaded here.

Firefox 3.0.7 includes 3 new languages: Estonian, Kannada, and Telugu as well as various fixes.

Firefox 3.1 Gone, Welcome Firefox 3.5

The upcoming Firefox release (Shiretoko) which is currently in development will be released as Firefox 3.5 instead of the planed 3.1. It should be noted, that Firefox Beta 3 which is going to be released within 5 days will still have 3.1 tag.

According to the meeting notes, the following decision was made due to many changes, or as it says “3.1 -> 3.5 to indicate increased scope”

To uninstall Internet Explorer 8 from Windows 7

Go to Control Panel
Open Programs
Click Turn Windows features on or off
