UC Browser 3 Released
Boasts 300 million global users.
It looks like we won’t see Firefox or Chrome on Windows Phone anytime soon so here is something that has slipped under our radar: UC Browser 3.0.
Although it does not bring any user interface changes like Dolphin (not like there is something wrong with it anyway), there are still a couple of new things that might get you interested.
This is what you can expect from the new build:
Upgraded Homepage – A complete overhaul of the homepage with new features such as the ability to move and contract your Speed Dials like Tiles in WP8.
Speed Boost – The speed of downloading has been increased by 40%-100%, along with an increase in page loading speeds.
Increased Usability – You can now exit UC Browser by clicking “back” twice at home page.
Domain Name Support – The entering of domain names in different languages allows for more convenient browsing.
QR Code Scanning – You can now scan QR Codes
Sounds intriguing? Give it a try.

300 million users… yeah… it’s a lie. See browser statistics (StatCounter for example). It should clearly be above Opera (~250 mobile users) but it isn’t. By the margin of difference it isn’t a simple matter of trusting these kinds of stats or not.
