Web Browsers Security Handbook

By | January 3, 2009

Now here is something quite informative. Browser Security Handbook published by Google.

As Google explains, the document is meant to provide web application developers, browser engineers, and information security researchers with a one-stop reference to key security properties of contemporary web browsers.

The following browsers are included:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
Mozilla Firefox 2
Mozilla Firefox 3
Apple Safari 3.2
Opera 9.62
Google Chrome
Android embedded browser

Worth a check if you are into those kind of things.

Why is Google using Net Application’s browser market share? I would think their own browser analysis would be more accurate based on volume (though is still prone to the primarily US audience problem like Net Applications, since other countries may use different search engines like Baidu or Yandex.)
