so true
I don’t think so. Nowadays, many people use Firefox or Chrome just because they heard “it’s better” or saw a Google’s advertisement.
It is understandable that some people don’t know the meaning of such acronyms; web browsers aren’t what they’re focused on, you’d hardly get what they mean if you wouldn’t read about it at least sometimes.
“…just because they heard “it’s better” or saw a Google’s advertisement”
or most typically, because someone told them not to use IE (like my girlfriend or my mum)
Yes indeed! :D
what a big cyber tragedy!! users dont give a damn about the app they use to view websites!!
while the internet nerds who know every browser and every trivial fact about it laugh at how non-techy people dont know anything
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzFXTyd-73E maybe thats why so much people dont really care
how techy does one need to be in order to read the name of the program before you click on it?
That’s pretty funny and sad at the same time. Considering the growth and integral nature that the Internet plays in most lives these days, attention to what tools you use should actually matter to users.
“Do you use IE ” no I use Facebook
I am not sure if someone is still using it :)
maybe he’s using the default browser for mac, safari lol
